I meant to write a note before now to say I would be on vacation the next two weeks and only posting sporadically. I thought I might post this week, but I have been too busy walking with my feet in the Atlantic Ocean, losing at cribbage, relaxing with my husband and having adventures… So sorry.
I am am so thankful for so many things: for God worthy of worship and having faith in, for electricity and running water and plenty of food, for work I love, for my husband and daughter, for women who have taught me to live well and men who have been my cheerleaders along the way, my parents who gave me so much, built my character, faith and commitment to service, my grandmother that inspired a love of quilts, for my mom who taught me to sew and cook and love the Bible, for my sisters who quilt with me… for my family whether they appreciate quilts or not, for getting to a particular age in reasonably good health, for freedom and those who protect it, and for you, my dear readers. I could go on and on but these are what I am most thankful for.
Blessings to you and Happy Thanksgiving.
